Liverpool to be hit by 25-hours of torrential rain starting today

It's been a fairly pleasant weekend with only the odd shower and spot of sunshine in Liverpool this weekend.

But unfortunately the mild weather will come to an end as the Met Office has forecast 25-hours of rain.

From 2pm we can expect torrential showers as the city is hit by a period of bad weather.

The rain will continue until 3pm on Tuesday (March 10).
