Heavy rain is forecast for Liverpool today as Storm Evert sweeps across the country.
The region was hit by flash flooding, thunder and lightning earlier this week, leading to travel disruption in some areas.
According to the Met Office, the wet weather is not quite over yet, with more rain is on its way to Merseyside today.

It comes in the wake of Storm Evert which is moving across across southern parts of England.
The forecast for Liverpool this Friday shows heavy rain easing slightly around 10am before returning at midday and into this evening.
Storm Evert is the first storm to be named in July by the Met Office's storm naming group.
Here is the Met Office forecast for the North West on Friday: "Heavy rain showers, some thundery, as Storm Evert moves eastward throughout the morning.
"A few sunny spells develop into the afternoon however some lingering showers will remain into the evening. Maximum temperature 18 °C."
Dan Suri, Met Office principal operational meteorologist, said: “Storm Evert will bring some high winds, particularly along the northern coast of the southwest, but there will be gusty winds more widely in southern areas, which brings the potential for some impacts, especially for those that might be travelling or camping in the weather.
“Storm Evert will move eastwards across southern UK during Friday daytime, clearing into the North Sea during Friday evening.
"As well as the high winds, there will also be some heavy rain before it leaves our shores, with up to 40 mm possible over parts of Wales and the southwest and the potential for 40 or 50 mm rain in a short period of time from heavy, possibly thundery, showers over parts of eastern and central England on Friday afternoon.”
