Liverpool tell ex-Swansea City loan star to leave, former Man Utd kid set for Cardiff City loan exit and Arsenal, Leeds and Wolves battle for teen sensation

Here's your round-up of all the latest transfer news from across the Championship for Sunday, September 20.

Brewster told to leave Liverpool

Rhian Brewster has been told to move on this summer by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

The Sun claims Brewster had a face-to-face meeting with the Reds boss last week, amid bids from Sheffield United and Crystal Palace.

Swansea City had previously expressed an interest in taking the striker back to the Liberty Stadium following his hugely successful loan spell last season.

However, Swans boss Steve Cooper seems increasingly resigned to missing out on a potential deal.

Sang set for loan exit

Cardiff City youngster Tom Sang is set for a loan move to Cheltenham Town.

According to GloucestershireLive, the former Man United academy kid is set to be drafted in to help fill the attacking gap left by Ryan Broom on the back of his move to Peterborough.

Sang is regarded as one of Cardiff's brightest young prospects, and came off the bench during City's defeat to Northampton Town in the League Cup at the beginning of the season.

Arsenal and Leeds after Olise

Arsenal, Leeds United and Wolves are among a string of clubs tracking Michael Olise.

That's according to Football League World, who stress that there is no suggestion at this stage of an imminent bid.

However, interest in the 18-year old does appear to be growing, with the midfielder emerging as one of the club's brightest prospects after a breakthrough season last term.

Birmingham City set to sign Spanish international

Birmingham City are on the verge of signing Spain international Mikel San Jose.

According to the BBC, the 31-year old is due for a medical ahead of a potential free transfer, having been released by Athletic Bilbao back in July.

San Jose was a popular figure for the La Liga outfit, making 397 appearances in all competitions during an 11-season spell.
