Liverpool teenager charged with sex attack on girl

A Liverpool teenager has been charged with sexually assaulting a girl.

The girl, 16, was attacked in Thetford, Norfolk, on Thursday, June 3.

The incident happened at 11.20pm in a grassed area off Canterbury Way, near a path that runs along the river in the direction of London Road.

Leon Campbell, 18, of Cedar Grove, Toxteth, Liverpool, has been charged with sexual assault.

Campbell will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court this morning.
