Liverpool team news vs Tottenham revealed as Jurgen Klopp makes two changes

Jurgen Klopp has made two changes for Liverpool's Premier League clash with Tottenham .

The Reds relinquished their spot at the top of the table to Manchester City on Saturday - after Pep Guardiola's men beat Fulham .

But Klopp's men can return to the summit with victory over Spurs - who are battling for a place in the top four.

Klopp has brought in Gini Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson for Adam Lallana and Fabinho from the Reds side which beat Fulham 2-1 before the international break.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Xherdan Shaqiri had both been pulled from international duty but were fit to make the squad, with the former starting at right back.

Alisson continues his reign of starting every Reds game in the league this season and will again be in goal against Spurs.

Alexander-Arnold will be joined in the back line by Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip - with Dejan Lovren again held on the bench despite returning to action for Croatia during the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Andrew Robertson will begin at left-back.

Klopp's two alterations have come in midfield with James Milner the only man to hold onto his spot.

Naby Keita had been ruled out of the fixture with an ankle problem, having also missed international action with Guinea, but has found a place on the bench.

The front three picks itself, despite Mo Salah's recent struggles in front of goal - with Sadio Mane and Robero Firmino along side the Egyptian.

Long-term injury plagued Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are both back in full training but are still not ready for first-team minutes.

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Matip, Robertson, Milner, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Salah, Firmino, Mane
