Liverpool team news confirmed as Jurgen Klopp makes nine changes for Arsenal in Carabao Cup

Diogo Jota makes his full Liverpool debut as Jurgen Klopp makes nine changes for the visit from Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.

The Portugal international, who scored his first Reds goal in Monday's 3-1 win against the Gunners, starts alongside Mohamed Salah and Takumi Minamino in the front three.

Harry Wilson makes his first start of the season in midfield alongside Curtis Jones and Marko Grujic as James Milner takes his place at left-back following the injury to Kostas Tsimikas.

Rhys Williams once more starts alongside Virgil van Dijk at the centre of defence with Neco Williams again named at right-back after last week's 7-2 hammering of Lincoln.

A strong-looking substitutes' bench contains Fabinho, Gini Wijnaldum, Joe Gomez, Andy Robertson and Divock Origi with Caoimhin Kelleher and Harvey Elliott completing the seven-man list.

Liverpool: Adrian, N. Williams, R. Williams, Van Dijk, Milner, Grujic, Jones, Wilson, Salah, Jota, Minamino.

Subs: Kelleher, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Gomez, Robertson, Origi, Elliott
