Liverpool team news and starting line-up for Newcastle as Roberto Firmino ruled out

Roberto Firmino has been ruled out of Liverpool's crunch Premier League clash with Newcastle United at St James' Park.

The Brazil striker, who came off the bench against Barcelona in midweek, isn't risked ahead of Tuesday's second leg at Anfield due to his ongoing groin problem.

Jurgen Klopp has made four changes from the side which lost 3-0 in the Nou Camp in the semi-final of the Champions League.

Daniel Sturridge, who is out of contract this summer, is restored to the frontline for what is likely to be the final start of his Liverpool career.

Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Naby Keita and James Milner all the four players to make way.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who made his comeback after a year out in last week's win over Huddersfield Town, is named among the substitutes.

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Mane, Salah, Sturridge.

Subs: Mignolet, Milner, Gomez, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Shaqiri, Origi, Matip.
