Roberto Firmino has been deemed only fit enough for bench duty as Jurgen Klopp springs a major surprise with his team selection for Liverpool's Champions League semi-final first leg with Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
The Brazilian striker is named among the subs after battling to recover from a groin problem.
Klopp has made four changes from the side which thrashed Huddersfield Town in the Premier League last Friday.

In a surprise move, Joe Gomez is recalled at right-back in place of Trent Alexander-Arnold. It is Gomez's first start since he broke his leg in December.
Joel Matip returns at centre-back in place of Dejan Lovren, while James Milner and Fabinho are restored to the midfield alongside Gini Wijnaldum. There is no place in the starting line up for captain Jordan Henderson.
In the absence of Firmino, Naby Keita is set to line up on the left of Klopp's front three with Sadio Mane likely to operate through the middle.
