Liverpool supporters noticed what Kepa Arrizabalaga did during Chelsea's 2-1 win over Man City

Chelsea supporters are still on a high following the 2-1 win over Manchester City.

As most of the reaction to the result at Stamford Bridge has centred around Liverpool being crowned Premier League champions, the importance of the game to the Blues was somewhat lost in the schuffle.

Not only did Frank Lampard's side restore their five-point lead over Manchester United and Wolves in the top-four battle, but they are now just a single point behind third-placed Leicester City.

Of course there is still a long way to go, but all signs are looking positive in regards to the west London outfit qualifying for next season's Champions League group phase.

Most of the praise in the aftermath of the 2-1 win over City fallen for goalscorers Christian Pulisic and Willian.

In regards to the latter, some Liverpool fans have suggested that the Brazilian should make the move to Anfield on a free transfer this summer after he scored the winning goal from the penalty spot.

However, it would appear that Kepa Arrizabalaga's role in the victory had initially gone unnoticed.

But as spotted by Liverpool fan @eyednik on Twitter, the Blues number one got away with moving the ball forward a couple of yards as players from both sides left the pitch for a drinks break.

Given play was to resume with a free-kick for the hosts, Kepa's actions allowed his teammates to gain an advantage as this wasn't spotted by the officials.

After being made aware of what Kepa did, Chelsea fans were quick to praise the Spaniard.

Speaking after the game, Lampard heaped praise on Liverpool.

"Just congratulate Liverpool. I don't think this game decided the title. That was decided a long time ago through Liverpool's consistency, performances and wins," he said. "Fair play to them of course. Give them full credit. They deserved to win it. Great for the players. Great manager.

"I know the hard work that goes in to trying to win a title with the competition that they've got. We saw that with Manchester City tonight. Big congrats to them, they deserve it."
