Liverpool starting line up confirmed for Brighton as Neco Williams handed first Premier League start

Neco Williams will make his first Premier League start for Liverpool in tonight’s clash at Brighton and Hove Albion.

Williams has been rewarded by Jurgen Klopp for a succession of impressive performances from the bench in recent weeks.

The 19-year-old Welshman, normally a right-back, will line-up at left-back with both James Milner and Andy Robertson on the bench.

Alisson Becker remains in goal, with Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back and Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez continuing at the heart of defence.

In midfield, Naby Keita is given another start while skipper Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum return with Fabinho among the substitutes.

And up front, Sadio Mane is rested to the bench in place of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the left, while Roberto Firmino replaces Divock Origi down the middle.

Mohamed Salah continues on the right flank. Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott are again among the substitutes.

LIVERPOOL (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Williams; Henderson, Wijnaldum, Keita; Salah, Firmino, Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Subs: Adrian, Fabinho, Milner, Mane, Minamino, Robertson, Origi, Jones, Elliott.
