Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara has joined Huddersfield Town on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old has signed an extension to his deal with the Reds before agreeing a temporary stay with Jan Siewert’s team.

Grabara spent the second half of 2018-19 with Danish side AGF and has been sent out once again to gain vital first-team experience.

The Pole, who joined Liverpool in 2016, has yet to make a senior appearance at Anfield but has impressed for the club’s academy sides.

Grabara will hope to follow in the footsteps of one former Reds goalkeeper during his season in Yorkshire.

Danny Ward helped the Terriers earn promotion to the Premier League during a loan stay in 2016-17.

Grabara will join Huddersfield’s pre-season preparations after finishing an extended break necessitated by his involvement in this summer’s U21 European Championships.
