Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott's heartwarming gesture to young Reds fan after impressive full debut

Liverpool's Harvey Elliott impressed in more ways than one on his full debut for the club on Wednesday night.

The young forward rattled the cross bar twice as a fresh-faced Liverpool defeated MK Dons 2-0 in the Carabao Cup.

Veteran midfielder James Milner - who was playing at left-back - struck before half-time, before young defender Ki-Jana Hoever headed in his maiden goal.

After the final whistle had blown at Stadium MK, Elliott showed heartwarming generosity as he gave away his shirt to a lucky Reds fan.

The youngster, who had ran onto the pitch at the end of the game to meet his heroes, had a brief chat with Milner and returning midfielder Naby Keita before making his way over to the 16-year-old winger.

What happened next was an act of kindness as the former Fulham starlet presented the Liverpool fan with his top.

The adorable moment - which showed the supporter clutching the No.67's shirt and returning to his dad in the crowd - was captured on video and shared to social media.

On Twitter the clip has already amassed over 800,000 views and has been liked more than 35,000 times.
