Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk removes fan after interrupting interview

Plenty of Liverpool players are away on international duty, and one of them is Virgil van Dijk.

The Dutchman recently returned to action following 10 months out with a serious knee injury, and has returned as a regular starter for the Reds.

In Liverpool’s three Premier League games so far this season, Van Dijk has played the full 90 minutes in each of them and helped keep two clean sheets along the way.

Now the 30-year-old is away with the Netherlands national team for their World Cup qualifiers.

Van Dijk was in action for his country against Norway, as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Erling Haaland and Davy Klassen getting the goals.

After the game, Van Dijk fulfilled his post-match media duties as captain, speaking to the various TV companies.

During one interview, Van Dijk was answering a question when a fan interrupted and attempted to get a reaction from the centre-back.

Instead, the Liverpool defender simply just lightly pushed the supporter to the side and carried on with the interview.

Van Dijk’s next involvement is likely to be in the Netherlands’ next match against Montenegro, which takes place on Saturday evening.
