Liverpool star Sadio Mane's hilarious message to Andy Robertson upon Melwood return

Liverpool superstar Sadio Mane returned to pre-season training on Monday and had a special message to share with defender Andy Robertson.

The Senegal striker, who reached the African Cup of Nations final  last month, was in high spirits as he returned to Melwood.

LFCTV captured Mane's arrival and shared the video, which quickly went viral, on Twitter.

At the start of the clip the forward makes his way to the pool where the Scottish left-back is swimming.

Mane opens the door and referring to Robertson's Wembley performance against Manchester City jokingly quips: "Hey Robbo, yesterday you play very bad!"

The 25-year-old greets his team-mate with his Kop chant as he sings: "Oh Mane, Mane."

To which the Reds goalscorer repeats: "Yesterday you play very bad."

Robertson is confused as Mane again shouts: "You play very bad yesterday without me, because I always help you."

The full-back, who started the Community Shield clash, responds by yelling: "Shut up!"

Mane was also welcomed back to training by captain Jordan Henderson and defender Dejan Lovren.

With Brazilian trio Alisson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino also greeting the 27-year-old with open arms.

Jurgen Klopp's side will get their Premier League campaign underway this Friday as Norwich City visit Anfield.
