Liverpool star Sadio Mane hints at injury return ahead of Norwich clash

Liverpool goalscorer Sadio Mane has hinted at his return to fitness following the injury he sustained last month.

The Senegal forward was sidelined as the Reds recorded victories over West Ham and Southampton.

After the 27-year-old was forced off against Wolves, Jurgen Klopp confirmed he would be without Mane for at least two fixtures.

Speaking at the time, the boss explained: "Sadio will not be involved vs West Ham and probably not Southampton.

"After that, he should be fine. He has a small muscle tear. We were lucky, it was not that serious."

It now looks as though Mane could be ready to make his return to action for Liverpool's meeting with Norwich on February 15, after sharing a positive post to Instagram.

The striker shared a picture from alongside team-mate Dejan Lovren and wrote the comical caption: "Getting Ready with @mosalah friend".

Mane looked in good spirits as he posed alongside the Croatian defender at Liverpool's training ground.

Klopp's side are currently in the middle of a 14-day winter break with many stars having jetted off to sunnier climes.
