Liverpool star Mohamed Salah extends winning streak as Dejan Lovren aims comical jibe at Xherdan Shaqiri

Liverpool goalscorer Mohamed Salah continues to reign victorious over Dejan Lovren in the pair's table tennis battle.

Ahead of Sunday's Community Shield encounter with Manchester City, the Reds are currently at a training camp in Evian, France.

Salah was reunited with his close pal Lovren on Monday after returning from an extended break following his Africa Cup of Nations exerts.

The duo have been battling it out in their down time in games of table tennis, and the Egyptian looks to have added to his winning streak.

On Tuesday, the Croatian international shared a post to Instagram whereby he revealed he was pursuing revenge against the 27-year-old forward who had won the first match.

The centre-half wrote: "Ok I lost 1-0 for him. Today is the day of revenge!"

To which Salah simply replied: "7/0".

And Lovren has now shared another update on his progress but this time he aimed a comical jibe at team-mate Xherdan Shaqiri.

The 30-year-old implied the attacking midfielder camera's skills aren't very good.

Lovren shared a picture alongside the two-time Golden Boot winner and wrote: "Lost again. Btw (by the way) Shaq (Shaqiri) took the picture with his Nokia 3310."

Ahead of this weekend's trip to Wembley, Jurgen Klopp's side will take on Lyon in Geneva on Wednesday.

With Liverpool's Premier League opener at Anfield against Norwich scheduled for Friday, 9 August.
