Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has claimed it ‘won’t be long’ before he returns to first team action.
The 18-year-old suffered a serious ankle injury after a poor tackle from Pascal Struijk during the Reds’ 3-0 win at Leeds in September.
Elliot started in three of Liverpool’s first four Premier League fixtures this season and was starting to establish himself in Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up.
The Reds boss has been keen to give the club’s youth opportunities this term, calling upon the likes of Tyler Morton , Max Woltman and Conor Bradley.

And according to Elliott he will be back competing alongside his fellow youngsters for a starting-berth soon.

Elliott joined the Reds as a 16-year-old from Fulham in the summer of 2019, and made his Premier League debut as a substitute during a 2-0 win over Sheffield United the following January.
He spent the 2020/21 campaign on a season-long loan at Championship side Blackburn Rovers, scoring seven goals and notching 11 assists.
In total he’s made 13 senior appearances for Liverpool.
