Liverpool star decides to quit Anfield and spark big battle for his signature - reports

Liverpool and Wales star Harry Wilson has decided he wants to quit Liverpool, according to reports.

The Mirror report Wilson, 22, has sparked a scramble for his signature amid interest from a string of Premier League clubs and teams in La Liga and Germany.

The Welshman has been a revelation on loan at Derby County this season and is now determined to get first team football, something that is far from guaranteed at Anfield.

Crystal Palace reportedly see him as a potential replacement for Wilfried Zaha if they lose their star winger, while Newcastle, Southampton and Brighton are also keen.

German clubs Augsburg, Hertha Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt are also said to be interested, while Wilson would also be open to a move to Spain, according to the Mirror.

Liverpool may be prepared to cash in on Wilson, although their preference is likely to be to loan him out again.

The Welshman is unlikely to return to Derby though as he sets his set on top-tier football after scoring 18 goals for Frank Lampard's side in the Championship last term.
