Liverpool star Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain has revealed a new clean-shaven look after losing a bet with Jamie Carragher.
The pair faced off in a football quiz hosted by Sky Sports.
And Reds legend Carragher upped the stakes at the outset as he suggested: "Shall we say whoever loses has to shave their beard off?
It was a close contest with several twists and turns.
But club legend Carragher prevailed and sealed a dramatic 12-11 win.
A crestfallen Oxlade-Chamberlain asked at the end: "Beard's got to come off has it?"
Carragher replied: "Looks like!"
And fair play to the midfielder who has already proved true to his word.
Oxlade-Chamberlain unveiled his fresh face on an Instagram video this afternoon and sent a message to Carragher.
He said: "Carra. The deed is done. Sideburns are looking shockingly bad.
"Didn't want to go anywhere near them, was very scared.
"Trim is not helping anything. I've left the 'tache on for good measure, because why not?
"I'm looking like my dad back in the 80s.
"But a bet is a bet. Well played mate."
