Liverpool squad revealed for Tottenham clash as Jurgen Klopp receives huge boost

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has almost a fully-fit squad to choose from for Sunday's clash with Tottenham .

The encounter at Anfield appears to be the toughest of Liverpool's remaining fixtures as they bid to win their maiden Premier League title.

The Reds have been boosted by the return to full training of Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Both have been out with serious injuries but are now taking part in full training, although they are not ready to play just yet.

Klopp was also sweating on the fitness of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Xherdan Shaqiri after the pair pulled out of international duty.

But they have both recovered in time to take their spot in the squad to face Spurs.

Tottenham suffer triple injury blow ahead of crunch Liverpool encounter

Manchester City take on Fulham in Saturday's early kick-off and can return to the top before Liverpool face Spurs.

Klopp believes his side can keep their nerve after an excellent campaign to date.

"I wanted to have this situation. It's brilliant. Now we work," the Reds boss said.

"It's nothing to think about - I don't think back or too far ahead. The boys came back, we train, we do the session, we are happy with the session or not, whatever happens, then you go into the games.

"I know how difficult these games are. We're in a moment where people think about us, 'we have seven games so we have to win all of them because City will win all of them' - and then we face Tottenham.

"Belief in something makes it more likely to happen - 100 per cent. The problem is I'm fairly sure Manchester City believe in themselves as well."
