For the second year running, the Liverpool squad were unable to attend their annual visit to Alder Hey hospital due to Covid.
But the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and Jurgen Klopp were able to virtually meet patients and staff of the hospital to put a smile on their faces.
Every festive period, the Reds squad customarily make the short trip to the world-renowned children's hospital in West Derby which delivers vital care for more than 330,000 children and young people, along with their families, every year.
Several members of the squad including captain Jordan Henderson, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Alisson Becker, Thiago Alcantara and Fabinho chatted to patients, parents and staff via video link.

"It's a shame that we are unable to visit the hospital again this year, but we still had so much fun meeting the youngsters and their families virtually," said Henderson to Liverpoolfc.com.
"This visit is something that is really important to all the lads and one that we look forward to every year.
"On behalf of the players and the club, I'd like to extend my thanks to all the staff at the hospital for the truly remarkable work they do day in, day out and especially in the current circumstances. They really are amazing."
Alder Hey Children's Hospital is one of Europe's biggest and busiest children's hospitals and cares for more than 330,000 children, young people and their families every year.
