Liverpool have rejected two loan approaches for Xherdan Shaqiri this month, but are prepared to sell the Swiss international on a permanent deal in the summer.
Shaqiri has only made three starts for the Reds in all competitions in the current campaign, coming off the bench on a further seven occasions.
The former Stoke City star has endured a disappointing season full of niggling injuries, with a calf problem ruling him out of the weekend's win over Manchester United .
Sevilla and Roma have both made approaches to Liverpool to sign Shaqiri on a temporary basis this month, but Jurgen Klopp has ruled out any senior squad departures as he continues to plot the route to winning the Premier League title and defending the Champions League.
Both suitors, plus any other interested clubs, have been told that Shaqiri will be available for around £25.5million in the summer, two years on from his £13million arrival from Stoke.
The January signing of Japanese international Takumi Minamino has placed a further hurdle in Shaqiri's path to regular first-team football at Anfield.
There are also high hopes at the club for the futures of youngsters Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, as well as the loan out Rhian Brewster, all of whom can offer attacking backup to the famed front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Shaqiri, 28, has played 40 times for the Reds since his arrival from relegated Stoke in July 2018.
He has scored seven goals, including a brace in a 3-1 win over Manchester United last season and a strike in a 5-2 Merseyside derby victory over Everton last month.
