Liverpool FC are set to announce a city centre screening of the Champions League final against Tottenham for up to 9,000 supporters.
Anfield won't be available to host the event on Saturday, June 1 as a result of the music concerts which are being held at the stadium next month.
However, the ECHO understands that plans are being finalised for a live screening at the M&S Bank Arena on the waterfront.

An official announcement should follow early next week and tickets will go on sale shortly after.
Liverpool FC pre-booked the M&S Bank Arena some six months ago in the event of Jurgen Klopp's side reaching the final in Madrid.
Anfield, which hosted the live screening for the 2018 final in Kiev, wasn't an option this time around as contractors are moving in on May 30 to prepare the stadium for three concerts. Take That on June 6 is followed by Bon Jovi on June 19 and Pink six days later.
Local residents were informed last month that Anfield wouldn’t be used for a Champions League final screening.
The event at the M&S Bank Arena will give up to 9,000 fans the opportunity to congregate together in the city to watch Liverpool attempt to lift the European Cup for the sixth time.

Reds supporters have been considering their options for the final after learning that the club have been given just 16,613 tickets for the showdown with Spurs in Madrid.
Only season ticket holders, members and fan card holders who have been to seven or more Champions League games this season are guaranteed a ticket.
