Liverpool is set for a week of sunny spells and milder temperatures, following a weekend of torrential rain and gales.
Over the weekend there was heavy rain and strong gusts of wind, making it difficult for people to exercise outside.
But this week spring is certainly on the way with a much more settled week of weather forecast by the Met Office.
Sunshine will dominate Merseyside's weather this week, with highs of 12 degrees predicted on most days.
There is a small chance of rain showers on Tuesday morning, but otherwise it should remain dry throughout the week.
The forecast for the North West said: "This morning will be dry with patchy cloud. In the afternoon, it will remain dry, but thicker cloud will build from the west. A moderate northwesterly wind.
"Tonight will be cloudy throughout with outbreaks of rain moving in from the northwest. A chilly night with light westerly winds.
"Tomorrow will be overcast throughout the day with light rain at times in the morning. The rain will ease in the afternoon, however, it will remain overcast. A moderate northwesterly wind.
"High pressure will move in on Wednesday, bringing settled conditions with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures.
