Liverpool set for Easter Sunday sunshine

Merseyside is set for a warm and dry Easter Sunday.

The Met Office has predicted strong sunshine this afternoon when temperatures are set to reach 20C. The mercury is set to start to rise from lunchtime and could hit 20C by 1pm.

However temperatures are set to drop at around tea-time. The Met Office has predicted rain from around 8pm this evening.

Bank Holiday Monday is set to be a lot cooler, with temperatures around 11C. The Met Office has predicted a cloudy day with sunshine in the evening.

Merseyside's beaches are expected to be busy today and many will head into the city centre to socialise with friends.
