Liverpool season ticket holders are being invited to have their name written on the wall of the players' tunnel at Anfield next season.
The gesture is being made by the Reds in a show of gratitude to supporters who have been unable to attend matches for much of the last 16 months.
An email has been sent to all season ticket holders and seasonal hospitality members explaining the initiative.
Written by the club's vice president of ticketing and hospitality, Phil Dutton, it says: "I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support over the last season, and at what has been an incredibly challenging time.
"To show our appreciation and to say a proper thank you for remaining by our side, we’d like to encapsulate just what your support means to us.
"As such, the club will be adding the names of all our season ticket holders and seasonal hospitality members names to the walls of our players' tunnel for the 2021/22 season, which of course would include your name."
Fans who would rather not have their name emblazoned in the tunnel are being given the opportunity to opt out of the scheme.
Names will appear in the players' tunnel until the end of the season, after which permission will again be requested for each campaign the initiative runs.
Only 16,000 supporters have been allowed to watch a match at Anfield since the coronavirus pandemic prompted a three-month suspension of elite football in March 2020.
There were 2,000 each for the Premier League games in December against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion, while 10,000 were allowed for the final game of the season against Crystal Palace last month.
