Liverpool schools will soon break up for the summer holidays.
Pupils will have around six weeks off school before returning for the autumn term. The summer holidays begin in Liverpool on Tuesday July 19.
Most Liverpool schools have the same holiday dates, but dates to vary across the UK. Some Catholic, Church of England and Hebrew schools may also differ so contact your child’s school to check their dates.

- Starts: Thursday September 1
- Ends: Wednesday December 21
- Half term: Monday October 24 to Friday October 28
- Christmas break: Thursday December 22 to Tuesday January 3
Spring Term 2023
- Starts: Wednesday January 4
- Ends: Friday March 31
- Half term: Monday February 13 to Friday February 17
- Easter break: Monday April 3 to Friday April 14
Summer Term 2023
- Starts: Monday April 17
- Ends: Wednesday July 19
- May day: Monday May 1
- Half term: Monday May 29 to Friday June 2
