Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold has won Premier League Young Player of the Season for 2019-20.
The defender beat the likes of Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, Manchester United trio Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, Chelsea's Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount as well as goalkeeper Dean Henderson who had a successful loan spell with Sheffield United.
Alexander-Arnold picks up the prestigious accolade following a season where he was not only crowned a world champion, but helped bring the Premier League title back to Anfield for the first time in the competition's history, having not even been born the last time Liverpool won a league title.
Liverpool conceded the fewest goals in the league but the 21-year-old's contributions to title glory didn't stop with his defensive duties. He also managed to break his own record of assists by a defender in a single season.
He totted up 13 assists in total, putting him second overall in the league and also contributed with four goals of his own, including a couple of unforgettable free-kicks.
And his efforts mean he was also included on the shortlist for the Premier League's Player of the Season award.

Alexander-Arnold has now picked up four major honours with his boyhood club, including the UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup in a career that is still in its early stages.
