A Liverpool takeaway is launching salt and pepper kits for fans to make their own dishes at home during lockdown .
The city’s only dedicated salt and pepper restaurant , Push It Real Good in Old Swan, has announced it will be offering the kits via collection and delivery so that customers can get their fix while at home.
After asking customers if they’d like the option to order a "make your own" kit on Instagram, Push It Real Good confirmed it would create them - with each kit making eight meals for £18.
This means each meal would cost just over £2 each.
The original Instagram post said: “With the current situation in supermarkets its crazy trying to get food so we are thinking of helping this by doing a salt and pepper kits, this will allow you to make around eight meals and will take away hassle of going to the supermarket.
“While we are in self isolation and practicing social distancing why not improve your culinary skills and cook for the family.”
Here’s what the kits include:

salt and pepper seasoning

homemade special bread crumb mix

Customers can also add other items such as bread or eggs for an additional £2.50 if they wish.

Push It Real Good is asking customers to respect social distancing measures when collecting or receiving a delivery.
