Liverpool's Roberto Firmino and Fabinho 'concern' over Brazil squad inclusion

Premier League clubs are reportedly anxious about releasing players for international duty next month with several Liverpool stars set to fly out to South America.

Fabinho, Alisson and Roberto Firmino have all been named in Brazil's squad to face Bolivia and Peru as World Cup qualifying begins.

However, it is believed there will be a huge push that players use private jets rather than commercial flights, report The Mirror.

Peru’s only received confirmation on Wednesday from CONMEBOL that they could move the fixture from 9:15pm to 7:15pm to be played behind closed doors because there is a nationwide 11pm curfew in the country.

South American qualifiers were due to start in March, but FIFA put fixtures on hold and are due to publish strict protocols in the next days which are expected to make them exempt from any quarantine with fears of COVID-19 growing.

Mirror Sport's John Cross also reports clubs will be anxious that “safety bubbles” are maintained while away on duty during the upcoming international break.

Everton forward Richarlison and Chelsea defender Thiago Silva are also included in the Brazil squad.

England will also name their team for their upcoming Nations League doubleheader and concerns lie there too after Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood broke protocol in Iceland and were sent home from the squad.
