Looking for something to do on World Book Day?
Celebrate World Book Day in style with The Reader Organisation and Liverpool City of Readers at their World Book Day Extravaganza where they will be celebrating the wonders of books in true Reader style.
Hosted by two organisations who love nothing more than reading, this is surely the only place to be this World Book Day.
This event is for children of all ages but please bring your grown-ups with you to Calderstones Mansion House at Calderstones Park from 4pm this Thursday, March 5.
There will be two shared reading groups starting at 4.30pm - one aimed roughly at children aged five and under and the other for eight and 12-year-olds. For any young visitors in between these age groups we're going to let you chose which group you'd like to join in with you can even swap mid-session.
Bring your favourite book with you if you'd like and don't forget to ask your grown-ups to tweet @thereaderorg with your plans and book choices for #worldbookday2015

Linghams Booksellers, Telegraph Road, Heswall
Linghams will be celebrating World Book Day with Heswall Primary School who will be coming in to hear stories from professional storyteller Cath Roberts aka ‘Tugboat Cath’. Cath lives on a tugboat in the Albert Dock and was a great hit last time she came to Linghams with stories of seafaring, smugglers and pirates. If you’re around do come along for a coffee and eavesdrop.
The Jungle, Westgate, Skelmersdale and Chetham Court, Warrington
Dress up as your favourite book character and for lots of stories and arts and crafts. Everyone in fancy dress will be treated to a FREE ice cream.Normal entry fees at The Jungle apply.
