Liverpool travel out to Qatar next week in a bid to claim the Club World Cup for the first time in their history.
The Reds enter at the semi-final stage of the competition and their match is set to take place on December 18, with the final and third-place playoff getting underway three days later.
Their opponents are yet to be decided with second-round matches due to be played on December 14.
However, the first game of the tournament between Al Sadd SC and Hienghène Sport was contested on December 11 with Barcelona legend Xavi's side Al Sadd coming out as 3-1 victors after extra-time.
That means they will face Mexican side CF Monterrey in the second round before the winners of that match progress to face Jurgen Klopp's men.
In the other half of the competition , Al-Hilal's victory in AFC Champions League final last month meant they took the final spot in the competition with Flamengo confirming their own berth after winning the Copa Libertadores too.
The win for Al-Hilal means they enter in the second round of the competition, while Flamengo will join at the semi-final.
Flamengo will contest the semi-final with the victors of the other second round tie between the Al-Hilal and ES Tunis of Tunisia on December 14.
Should they win their semi-final, Liverpool will then have the opportunity to become world champions of the club game for the first time in their history on December 21.
