Klopp's unpleasant reality
Liverpool's double injustice against Tottenham Hotspur during their pulsating 2-2 draw in London masked an unpleasant reality for Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds felt Harry Kane should have been sent off for a slide tackle on full-bak Andy Robertson in the first half, and the Scotland international was then himself shown a red card after a VAR check for a crunching challenge on Emerson Royal late in the second half.
Liverpool also felt they should have had a penalty shortly before half-time when Diogo Jota was shoved to the turf inside the box.
But once the dust has settled on those two incidents, there will still be one thing Jurgen Klopp will not be happy about regarding his side's performance.
Salah scoops award
Mohamed Salah has been voted the Fans' Footballer of the Year 2021.
Salah pipped West Ham's Declan Rice, who finished second, while Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes came third.
It's been quite the year for Salah, who has been on a tear of incredible form since the start of this season as he's broken record after record and led Liverpool's title charge.
The rest of the players in the award's top 20, which has been voted for by football fans up and down the country, is dominated by Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United names with only one other Red making the list.
While Salah will no doubt be proud to have won this latest award, it appears he's just getting started this season.
Robertson's touching Salah tribute
Following Salah's Fans' Footballer of the Year 2021 win, Andy Robertson has paid a touching tribute to his teammate.
The Scotland full-back has labelled Salah the "best in the world" as he explained why the Reds superstar has been racking up the individual accolades so far this season.
He also told why fans can look forward to seeing more of the same from the Egypt international before the season's out next summer.
