Liverpool's mission against Real Madrid is obvious as Mohamed Salah future becomes clearer

The key for Liverpool against Real Madrid is to get a clean sheet. Go in at half time 1-0 up, then you’ve got a chance.

Certain things happen in football that you don’t expect, and it can always happen even without the Anfield crowd.

It’s going to be really tough to keep them at bay, with the way they attack.

If Jurgen Klopp's men don’t get a clean sheet then I can’t see us going through. A clean sheet is imperative.

With the pace Real have got, we’ve got to be so right at the back. We’ve got to be strategically correct, the game plan has got to be spot on by Jurgen Klopp.

If they can do that then you never know.

This is no Barcelona repeat

The win against Barcelona in 2019 was a miracle. The advantage of the crowd that night was remarkable.

It was a special night, you don’t get one of them every two years.

Without the crowd it’s going to be tough for the players, but you’ve got to think about what happened in the Champions League final in Kiev in 2018.

Quite simply the Reds must do themselves justice, because we didn’t last week, it was absolutely woeful.

Show European football and the world what they can be.

Real aren’t that good, they’re not as good as last week’s result showed them to be.

Someone said ‘I don’t think we can be that poor again’, and I think we’ll be a lot better, but we have to defend.

We have to defend, with the pace they’ve got, especially on their left-hand side.

Mohamed Salah will get better

Mohamed Salah, like a lot of the other players, can be a lot better but he’s still got 28 goals this season, which is ridiculous.

That’s how good he is, just imagine when he gets back to his best, next year hopefully.

He can still get 35 goals this season, with the penalties which is always nice to have.

Liverpool just have to get through this season, secure a Champions League spot, and see what happens on Wednesday night against Real Madrid, then regroup for next year.
