Liverpool's Lush store closes as staff join climate protest

Lush's huge Liverpool city centre store is currently closed as its staff have joined climate emergency protests.

Signs are up in its windows informing shoppers the store which opened in April this year, will remain closed until later today.

Even Lush's press office ,when contacted by the ECHO, had set an automated email response informing journalists they too were unavailable due to an emergency.

Signs in the shop's windows say: "Sorry we are closed.

"Lush is responding to the call from school strike for climate asking adults to suspend business as usual whilst they rally today to demand action on climate change."
