Liverpool's hidden rooftop tiki bar you may not even know exists

Spring has arrived and while the weather might not have caught up just yet, it's just about that time to start looking for a beer garden.

Liverpool has no shortage of sun traps to sit and relax with an ice cold drink, but they’ll undoubtedly fill up quickly with the sun cracking the flags. So if you’re looking for somewhere lesser known, there’s a little gem on Seel Street that is well worth seeking out.

Nestled above Collective, Tiki Bao aims to teleport customers up and away from the hustle and madness of Seel Street. The bar is an ‘edgy spin’ on the classic Southern Pacific Island themed bar and features a huge wall mural of a hula girl, bamboo clad furniture and bar.

Tiki Bao offers an extensive cocktail menu, with drinks ranging from tiki bar staples like the flaming Zombie, to the house Tiki Pornstar Martini. The menu also features Grog and Lychee Tequila shots.

The rooftop bar is almost fully covered and has a number of outdoor heaters to ensure even the coldest nights can have that tropical feeling.

Tiki Bao is based on the rooftop of Collective on Seel St, Liverpool, L1 4BX. The bar is due to reopen for 2023 next month.
