Liverpool's Harry Wilson spot on as he helps Derby beat Leeds and reach Championship play-off final

Liverpool's Harry Wilson netted a pressure penalty for loan side Derby County as they reached the Championship play-off final thanks to a 4-2 win over Leeds United at Elland Road to triumph 4-3 on aggregate.

The Rams, who were trailing 1-0 from the first leg at Pride Park, came back strongly in Yorkshire to book a May 27 showdown with Aston Villa at Wembley as the two Midlands sides bid for a place in the Premier League.

With 58 minutes on the clock Wilson coolly sent Leeds' former Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla the wrong way with a low left-foot finish into the left-hand corner to put Frank Lampard's side ahead on aggregate.

The Harry Wilson transfer dilemma Jurgen Klopp could face at Liverpool this summer

Stuart Dallas had extended the Whites' advantage from the first game with a 24 minute strike but the hosts were rattled by two Derby goals either side of the break as Jack Marriott (45) and on-loan Chelsea man Mason Mount (46) turned the game on its head before Wilson's penalty.

With Leeds down to 10 men after Gaetano Berardi's sending off for a second bookable offence, Wales international Wilson, 22, was almost left to rue missing a gilt-edged opportunity late on when he rolled a shot on to Leeds' right-hand post after working the opening himself.

Liverpool could generate £100million from player sales this summer as Jurgen Klopp prepares for big transfer decisions

However, just moments later Marriott spared his blushes with his second of the evening as he dinked the ball past the onrushing Casilla and put his side, who also had a stopping time sending off for Scott Malone which prompted Wilson's substitution, potentially 90 minutes away from a top-flight return.
