Liverpool’s annual Halloween parade through the city centre was cancelled due to the wet weather.
Heavy rain forced the organisers of the Katumba Halloween Carnival to cancel the parade on Sunday, October 31.
However, despite the cancellation, pop up performances still went ahead in the city including at Liverpool ONE and under the umbrella installation in Church Alley.

The drumming and dance carnival band Katumba and dancers from Viva Brasil put on a spectacular performance dressed in fancy dress.
Photos taken by ECHO photographer Andy Teebay show some of the amazing Halloween costumes and make up worn by the performers as they made their way down Church Alley.

From ghouls and zombies to Skeletons and Angels, Katumba didn't let the weather stop them from bringing Halloween to life tonight in Liverpool.
It's the second year the parade through the city centre has been forced to cancel, with the event unable to go ahead in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The event typically sees Katumba, the North West’s largest drum ensemble, lead a parade through the city centre with more than 100 drummers.
