Liverpool's first ever interactive cocktail bar to launch on Victoria Street later this year

Liverpool is set to welcome its first ever digital and interactive cocktail and wine bar later this year.

On Point is due to open on Victoria Street this September and will offer customers the chance to order food and drink like never before.

Customers can order without waiting around for a member of staff using the interactive tables that allow you to book online.

Once customers have ordered, there is staff on hand to ensure a speedy delivery.

The new bar will feature interactive booths and tables where customers can place orders, browse the internet, play games, watch TV and even enjoy the built in selfie booth.

Robert White, owner of On Point, said: “I've been in the industry for 15 years and I wanted to stand-out, be different.

“I designed the concept about four years ago because I am really impatient when I go into venues and they make you wait forever just to get a drink; it lets the venues down and it's all down to management and the way they operate.

“I want to ensure everybody is served quickly and efficiently and I want to make going into a bar enjoyable and relaxing for everyone.

“We as a city have some amazing venues but topping the poll for me is the new Kitty’s Showbar on Tithebarn Street, the atmosphere is amazing, a real community spirit vibe.

“I have always been good with computers so I decided to put my skills together and form a great concept.

“The thing I get asked a lot, because I’m gay, is will it be a gay bar and why not.

“My bar will not be a gay labelled venue or have any label for that matter it is going to be just a bar and everybody is welcome no matter their sexual preference.

“It's 2019 and we all must get along and have fun #WeAreOnPoint”.

On Point will feature a variety of entertainment including singers and comedy acts, along with cabaret and tribute acts.

The bar will offer an extensive drinks selection, along with a range of Thai and Chinese appetisers such as sui mai and spring rolls.

While many of the details are under wraps,On Point is on course for a mid-September launch.
