A café is opening in Liverpool dedicated to salt and pepper street food including the city's favourite salt and pepper chicken.
Push It Real Good Salt and Pepper Street Food is thought to be the first café in the city serving up solely salt and pepper dishes.
Owner Ross Barker told the ECHO that all his food will be homemade, freshly cooked and available to takeaway.
He said: "Salt and pepper is a massive scene in Liverpool and we'll be solely dedicated to all things salt and pepper with a few little twists and some of own specials on the menu."
Ross, who formerly worked as a chef at Anfield's famous pie shop Homebaked, is opening the new shop at the site of his former café Simply Boss Scran on Derby Lane in Old Swan following its closure in November last year.
The 38-year-old added: "We're reopening and relaunching with the new concept that I think could really take off. We'll have all the usual favourites on the menu including salt and pepper chicken."
The menu will also feature his speciality salt and pepper wrap, salt and pepper chicken burger and beef burger, salt and pepper halloumi and a vegan fritter option made with deep fried cauliflower and broccoli.
There will also be traditional Chinese dishes on offer including ribs, squid, king prawn and shumai (pork dumplings) as well as loaded salt and pepper handcut chips available with chicken, pulled pork or halloumi.

Push It Real Good is due to open next Wednesday, February 5 with opening hours to be confirmed.
