One of Liverpool's best-known hotels has been put up for sale - with the seller looking for offers of over £12.5m.
Savills has brought 30 James Street to the market, and said it expects to see "good levels of interest".
Last year, Legacy Hotels - known for running the Pullman Hotel on the waterfront - was appointed by Savills, the receivers, to operate the business.
On Thursday, Savills announced that it is up for sale.
Tom Cunningham, hotels director at Savills Manchester, said: “This sale offers a rare chance to acquire a prime city centre hotel and historic landmark, in one of the UK’s most popular destinations.
"The history of the building, the quality of its provisions and the standout location have together created a fantastic opportunity for potential investors and we expect to see good levels of interest.”
Once known as the ‘home of the Titanic’, having been the headquarters of the White Star Shipping Line, the grade II-listed hotel comprises 63 bedrooms along with the Carpathia Champagne Bar and Restaurant on the seventh floor.
The hotel has an outdoor terrace, grand hall, conference and banqueting facilities, as well as a spa with three treatment rooms and an indoor swimming pool.
Savills said that during the first Covid-19 lockdown, the property underwent an "extensive refurbishment" to overhaul the entire property - "creating a standout, newly designed hotel, allowing the business to recover strongly upon reopening".
