Liverpool midfielder Fabinho says he knew the Anfield atmosphere would help the Reds past Barcelona in May's Champions League semi-final.
The Reds put in a creditable performance in the first leg of the last-four clash with Barca on May 1, but were beaten 3-0 by the La Liga champions.
Lionel Messi added a brace to Luis Suarez's opener to leave Jurgen Klopp's Reds with a mountain to climb in the return game at Anfield later that month.
However, despite being without influential forwards Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, Liverpool fought back, winning 4-0 thanks to a brace apiece from Gini Wijnaldum and Divock Origi.
It was enough to set up a final with Tottenham Hotspur, with the Reds securing their sixth European Cup thanks to a 2-0 victory in Madrid on June 1.
And Fabinho has told how he predicted that Anfield would be the difference between the sides to Roberto Firmino.
Answering a series of fan questions for De Sola, in Brazil, Fabinho said: "Even before the first game I told Firmino: 'In Anfield we're going to swallow these guys up.'"
On claims he 'pocketed' Lionel Messi in the second leg at Anfield, the defensive midfielder paid tribute to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner and said his own exceptional performance on the night was necessitated to keep the Barcelona superstar quiet.

"I don't know if I put him in my pocket, you have got to respect the man," he added.
"He was the best player I've ever faced. I think especially in the second leg I managed to protect the defence really well in the area he plays and it was not easy [because] he's unpredictable.
"I saw people saying he disappeared during the game but the four opportunities Barca had came from him.
"He's a really unique guy, but there was a moment I noticed that Barcelona (players) waited and looked for him so I just started to close his area to not let the ball get to him - because it's a problem if it does."
Predictably, Fabinho was asked about his curious omission from Brazil's 23-man squad for the Copa America.
Tite's Selecao went all the way in their homeland, beating Peru in the final 3-1 on Sunday, but eyebrows were raised when Fabinho was left out the group.
"Yes, I was actually surprised by how many people came to talk to me about it," said the Liverpool star.
"I spoke to Firmino, he was like: 'Don't worry my friend, it happens.' Klopp sent a message and I really didn't expect that.
"He said: 'I don't get it. You deserved it, but relax...I need you for ready for the Champions League final!"
