Liverpool's Edge Lane KFC is closed - and this is why

Many fans of the Colonel’s famous fried chicken have been wondering just why Liverpool’s Edge Lane restaurant has been closed.

The restaurant, which hugely popular in the area, has been closed for several weeks, leaving locals wondering just why it had closed its doors.

Today, a KFC spokesperson said: “We always want our restaurants looking sharp so we’ve decided to give Edge Lane a brand-new makeover.

“We’re hoping to re-open on 19th July but in the meantime, local KFC fans can check https://www.kfc.co.uk/find-us to find their nearest restaurant.”

KFC-lovers have rejoiced this week with the news of the fast food chain’s brand new side dishes, including mashed potato, southern rice and salad.

Fans of KFC can expect the newly refurbished store to reopen in mid-July.
