Liverpool’s Crissy Rock ‘disgusted’ as bars scammed out of hundreds for fake gigs

Crissy Rock fans have been left out of pocket after being scammed by fake booking agency.

The Liverpool star, who played Janey in the Benidorm TV series, has said she is ‘disgusted’ and ‘sorry’ for those who have been conned.

Those caught up in the scam include a number of social clubs who were led to believe they had booked the comedian for a gig.

Crissy told the ECHO: “I’m very upset and think what is happening to these bars is disgusting.

“I’d like to apologise to anyone who was affected and scammed by these scammers using my name.”

In a statement released on her official Facebook page, Crissy said: “I have been made aware the email address bookings@crissyrockofficial.co.uk is taking bookings claiming to be my official management and booker.

“Please BEWARE this is not me, nor my management or anyone in connection to me. Booking me via this email is bogus and not me.

“Nor is this my official email address or official booking email. That EMAIL is bogus.

“I also don't work or have any connection to Wow Entertainment who are also claiming to be working with me and taking bookings.”

It has been reported that clubs have sent over hundreds of pounds to the alleged con artist.

Crissy has asked fans to only make bookings through Bold Management, Opaque Artists Management and Simon at SQP Live.
