For a team that has had several things seemingly go against them in the early weeks of the season, Liverpool are not in a bad place.
Already sitting atop the Premier League table, and with their Champions League progression looking next to certain, Jurgen Klopp's side have - despite obvious poor results like the 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa - got themselves into a good position on both fronts.
Having already played the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton in the league, Liverpool's start was a tricky one, and while they have dropped points, so has everyone else in a strange season behind closed doors.
In Europe, meanwhile, they have won their opening three matches of a campaign for the first time ever, all three of the games being played without the injured Virgil van Dijk, with Fabinho and Rhys Williams stepping up.

On the Analysing Anfield podcast, Josh Williams said: "The Van Dijk injury, the offside goal in the Merseyside derby, Aston Villa’s deflected goals - it has been one of those seasons so far where Liverpool have suffered from more bad luck than normal.
"The shots on target numbers epitomise that a bit but it can’t continue - it will turn. Liverpool are getting really punished for tiny things.
"Against Leeds for example, they conceded three from three shots on target. Every shot on target found the net and that would not usually happen.
"Despite that, Liverpool are still top having accumulated 16 points from a possible 21."
David Hughes added: "Last season, it felt like Liverpool should have conceded more goals than what they did with the amount of big chances that Liverpool’s opponents missed.
"A lot of that is down to good defensive pressure which can’t be captured in the numbers, but there was an element of luck. Maybe this is just the reverse of that [and it will even itself out a little before the season ends].
"They are the only team yet to concede in the Champions League and I think that is a sign of what is to come in terms of the goals slowing down in the Premier League."
With Alisson Becker back in goal, Liverpool will hope for the remainder of the season with no more injuries or suspensions for their number one, the number of shots on target finding the back of the net should reduce, as the Brazilian proved in Italy on Tuesday when he made two excellent stops.
But success also comes down to getting a bit of good fortune at times, something Liverpool have perhaps not been on the end of as of yet. That, though, will even itself out.
Liverpool may have only kept one clean sheet in seven Premier League matches so far, but in time, their Champions League form defensively will translate, even without Van Dijk to be relied upon.
