Liverpool's Champions League chances dismissed as odds show Reds are far from favourites

Liverpool's odds of further Champions League glory are at their longest for a defending champion since Chelsea's triumph in 2012.

The Reds claimed their sixth European Cup last season with a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano stadium.

But despite an impressive start to their Premier League campaign this season, betting trends analysts at BonusCodeBets.co.uk. believe Jurgen Klopp's side are unlikely to match their exploits of last season.

According to the latest odd released, Manchester City are the favourites for this season's competition priced at 3/1, while Barcelona are second favourites priced at 5/1.

Liverpool are then priced at 7/1 before Real Madrid and PSG complete the top five with them being priced at 9/1 and 10/1 respectively.

Despite being beaten finalists in 2018, the Reds were initially ranked as 14/1 outsiders at this stage last season, before going on to defy the odds to lift the famous trophy.
