Liverpool road closed after seagull gets trapped in building

Efforts to rescue a trapped seagull led to a road in Liverpool being blocked off this morning.

Fire crews shut Park Lane, on the edge of the Baltic Triangle, at around 10.30am.

Their efforts were concentrated on Essex House, opposite the Nordic Church, where the bird was believed to be stuck behind an aerial.
