Liverpool 'rival' Real Madrid for Ajax midfielder as Gini Wijnaldum Premier League return eyed

The January transfer window is moving ever closer, and Liverpool continue to be linked with potential new additions to their squad.

Ibrahima Konate was the only first-team addition that the Reds brought to the club during the summer window, while several left Anfield either on a loan basis or on permanent deals.

With the transfer window just days from opening, the amount of rumours linking Liverpool with potential new signings has intensified.

Ryan Gravenberch, Ajax midfielder.

What?

According to the report, Real Madrid are the latest club to join the race for the 19-year-old’s signature.

The report goes on to say that while Real are expressing an interest in Gravenberch, they face increased competition from Liverpool.

Gravenberch has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the past, with other clubs such as Barcelona and Manchester United also being previously credited with an interest.

Jude Bellingham, Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

What?

According to the report, Dortmund are hoping to tie up a new contract for Bellingham, as well as sign his younger brother in order to convince him to stay.

Jude’s younger brother, Jobe, is 16 years old and plays for Birmingham City who Dortmund signed Bellingham from last summer.

The report states that Dortmund want to convince Bellingham to stay at the Bundesliga club by bringing his family to the club.

Liverpool have been extensively linked with an £80m move for Bellingham in the past, with the England international having admirers within Anfield.

Gini Wijnaldum, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.

What?

According to the report, the former Liverpool midfielder is unhappy at PSG and could look to leave the club in the New Year.

The report states that Wijnaldum’s former club Newcastle United could make a move to reunite with the Dutchman in January.

However, it has also been claimed that PSG have no intentions of letting Wijnaldum depart, after he left Liverpool in the summer to sign for the Ligue 1 club as a free agent.
