Chelsea handed Pulisic blow
Chelsea have been hit with yet another injury blow in the international break with it being revealed that Christian Pulisic suffered an ankle problem in the USA’s final game against Honduras.
The winger lasted just over an hour before having to be substituted, with boss Gregg Berhalter confirming that he had picked up a knock.
Pulisic has only just returned to action having overseen a period of self-isolation and depending on the severity of the injury, could well be a doubt for this weekend’s clash against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool eyeing Bellingham swoop
From one former Borussia Dortmund midfielder to a current one now as Chelsea appear to have competition for the signing of Jude Bellingham.
The Blues have been interested in the 18-year-old for some time but SPORT 1 have reported that Liverpool are now admirers, with Jurgen Klopp apparently eyeing a swoop as early as next summer.
The former Birmingham City youngster has four years left to run on his current deal at the Signal Iduna Park and is apparently priced at £80m by the Bundesliga giants.

FIFA Club World Cup venue in doubt
The Blues will aim to be sealing more silverware this December as they act as Europe’s representatives in the FIFA Club World Cup.
However, the competition is slightly in doubt with current hosts Japan having experienced a surge in Covid-19 cases.
ESPN have suggested that the nation could potentially relinquish hosting rights and that the competition could instead be staged in Qatar.
