Liverpool restaurant Six by Nico serving five course meals to eat at home during lockdown

A Liverpool restaurant is giving customers a chance to enjoy its food from home during the new local lockdown.

While bars and restaurants are permitted to open under the new restrictions, many people may choose to stay at home or might be self-isolating.

This means many will be learning how to cook or ordering takeaway food to get them through.

Popular Liverpool restaurant Six by Nico is giving its fans the opportunity to have some of their favourite dishes at home, as it did in April during the first coronavirus lockdown.

Home by Nico offers diners a five course meal for four people, which can be pre-ordered now for collection from the North John Street venue between September 28 and October 11.

The Sicilian-inspired menu features dishes such as Porchetta, Pickled Fennel salad, Fregola Sarda, Focaccia, Sicilian Lemon Tart, Crystallised Pine-nut and rosemary, and more.

Each order comes with cooking instructions for diners to make their dishes at home.

Home by Nico costs £50 for a five-course meal for two with a bottle of wine.
